This session aims to redefine the meaning of the state, government, and the public/publicity from a commons perspective by looking at the cases of the Seoul Gyeongui Line commons and the Seoul Innovation Park, which were promoted in the name of 'publicness' and 'commons' but have been closed or planned to be closed in the name of 'developmentalism' and 'speculative urbanization'.
